500 Best Campsites voting results are updated after each years voting has concluded.

2010-11 Best Campsite Results (Main Page)

Voting for each year runs from beginning of March to end of the following February. This then gives us a month to collate the results of the survey before publishing the results of the best voted campsites in the results pages.

Launched in 2010 the 2010-11 survey was our first annual survey and we aim to conduct this survey every year.

Our aim over the next year or two is to feature only the top 500 voted campsites on "500 Best Campsites". There are over 2000 campsites in the UK so we are only aiming to feature the top quarter of those sites. These are the best voted campsites so you can help by voting and nominating in our best campsites surveys.

Why? Well when your off camping you want to pick a good campsite. What is a good campsite? This is down to opinion. What one person thinks is a great campsite someone else might loath. That's why we run the survey each year. Only campsites with the most voted get to be featured on 500 Best Campsites. Based on a survey each year. So the results pages are likely to change as each year goes by reflecting the experience of users.

Where can I vote for what I think are the best campsites in the UK?

All the voting pages are in our voting sections which can be found at www.500bestcampsites.co.uk/vote. 

The results pages are divided into years, i.e. the overall results for the survey year. As voting ends at the end of February each year the March 2010  to February 2011 results are referred to as 2011 results i.e. the year when the survey concluded.

You don't need to be registered to vote but you need to register the site on the "nominate a campsite" page to submit a campsite that's not already in the voting lists.
